Does Acne Diet Work? And is Diet an Effective Way to Get Rid of Acne?

Are you thinking on going on an acne diet? You are on the right track! Your diet is what affects the amount of acne the most. Eating certain foods and avoiding certain foods can dramatically improve your skin condition.

I have learned this myself. I had problems with acne since I was 13 and I tried almost all acne removers on the market. None of them helped me. Many of them only worsened my acne and if they helped it was only a temporary improvement.

Well now that you know that diet is a good way of fighting acne you are probably wondering how do you go on about the diet. I learned all about eating the right things and avoiding the wrong things from a 90 page long e-book dedicated to proper acne diet. Therefore I won’t be able to share all of the info here, in one article.

But here are some basic dieting tips for you:

1. Eat lots of vegetables and fruits. These contain vitamins which not only make your skin more beautiful but also stronger and more resistant to acne.

2. Start eating lot of nuts. These contain minerals that are important to keep your skin healthy. Good source of these minerals are pumpkin seeds.

3. Avoid greasy food which contains lot of fat

4. Avoid sweets, especially chocolate

5. Avoid coffee and all other caffeine sources such as energy drinks and coke

6. Avoid sweet drinks, instead only drink clean water – you should be aiming for at least 2 litters a day
